Distribution Engineer ENERCON $75,000.00 - $140,000.00 /Yr. United States, Florida, Tampa 12470 Telecom Drive (Show on map) Aug 31, 2026

Overview ENERCON's Power Delivery group is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer to join our growing team. From reviewing design products to providing technical guidance and leadership, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with your work every day. This role can be located in one of our offices in: Tampa, FL Responsibilities In this role, you'll champion quality and consistency, apply best practices to systems, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Other duties may include:
Design & Compliance:

Ensure designs meet client, industry, and regulatory standards

Quality Assurance:

Review designs for consistency, quality, and adherence to standards

Communication & Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory counterparts

Leadership & Adaptability:

Guide teams, manage workloads, and maintain production in changing conditions #LI-MD1 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or similar), or equivalent education and/or experience

Typically has a minimum of 3 years of Power Delivery experience

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards and practices, and regulatory requirements

Knowledge of NESC and other applicable codes and standards

Strong computer (e.g. Microsoft Office) and communication skills (verbal and written)

Willingness to learn and operate client provided programs and systems

Ability to work effectively with a team

Ability to travel up to 20 - 25% of the time to client sites (expected to travel at least one time per month) for project and/or marketing meetings Compensation Range USD $75,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
