Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer (10 Openings)
Job Duties:
Develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed. Analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions. Design and install sophisticated testing equipment and perform product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates. Collaborate with supplier representative on quality problems, ensure that effective corrective actions are implement and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs. Develop, implement and improve manufacturing methods, process controls, testing and inspection procedures to ensure product quality and performance. Analyze production data and nonconforming products to identify root causes and support corrective and preventive actions. Design and implement manufacturing equipment, automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness. Support day-to-day manufacturing operations, including equipment selection, installation, validation and process implementation. Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement. Apply engineering principles and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to improve productivity and reduce waste. Maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Education/Experience Requirements :
Masters degree or Foreign Equivalent and six (6) months experience as Manufacturing Engineer or Jr. Manufacturing Engineer or in any related occupation performing 3-4 of the job duties aforementioned.
Field of Study :
Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Systems Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Job Locations :
Tampa, FL or any unanticipated client sites within the U.S. Must be available to travel nationally and relocate to any unanticipated client sites for temporary projects. Frequency of travel 50%, No international travel.
