Augusta, Georgia Professional Direct Hire Description:
Automation Engineer (Siemens Drives & PLCs) HTI is recruiting for an experienced Automation Engineer to support a large industrial manufacturing facility in Augusta, GA. This role will serve as the site's technical expert for Siemens drive systems, partnering with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, troubleshoot automation issues, and support ongoing plant startup activities. What You'll Do Own and support Siemens drive systems across the facility. Troubleshoot PLCs, drives, and industrial automation equipment. Optimize system performance and improve equipment reliability. Support startup, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects. Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams. What We're Looking For 3+ years of industrial automation or controls experience. Strong experience with Siemens Drives, TIA Portal, and Siemens PLCs . Experience troubleshooting industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment. Engineering degree preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered. Why Apply?
