Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Engineer at
ITS USA LLC
in Covington, GA. The CAM Engineer will be responsible for editing, modifying, inspecting, and distributing CAM data to support manufacturing processes. This role is critical for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in circuit board production.
Key Responsibilities:
Import and edit/convert design data into CAM software.(coreCAM) Optimize data for production processes. Generate and verify manufacturing datasets. Prepare and distribute data to production teams. Run DRC (Design Rule Checks) for glass substrate manufacturing. Ensure all design details and special notes are correctly implemented on traveler documents. Promptly resolve design issues as they arise. Adjust data aspects as needed. Maintain accurate documentation for all processes. Qualifications Computer-Aided Design (CAD)/CAM and EDA skills Demonstrated ability to create detailed designs and plans Strong problem-solving skills Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with substrate manufacturing. Experience with data management and basic programming. Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
