You will lead technical teams to solve complex processing challenges, ensuring our manufacturing systems operate at peak efficiency and safety standards. Responsibilities Lead cross-functional teams to optimize cycle times, maximize throughput, and significantly reduce material scrap rates. Develop and maintain critical process documentation, including molding specifications, Process Flow diagrams, and PFMEAs. Establish robust processing parameters and standardized molding procedures to ensure consistent output across all production shifts. Execute design of experiments (DOE) and capability studies to validate process improvements and equipment performance. Oversee the quality program, including lab technician management, testing protocols, and coordination of GMP and NSF audit compliance. Analyze production data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement corrective actions using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Provide technical justification for capital equipment investments to support long-term plant growth. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing mechanical processes and quality inspections. Proven leadership experience managing direct reports in a production setting. Strong proficiency in Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis (5 Why), and SPC software. Expertise in Microsoft Office and data-driven analytical tools. Preferred Skills Direct experience with pulp and fiber processing or paper-making technologies. Working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Familiarity with PI systems and digital EOT monitoring. Certification or deep experience in Food Safety and GMP standards.
