What You'll Do Collaborate with sales and project management to evaluate design feasibility, value engineering options, and constructability during the bid and pre-construction phases. Develop and maintain design standards that align with industry best practices and company objectives Ensure that all engineering work complies with structural codes, safety standards, and project requirements Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of design drawings, 3D models, and engineering calculations. professional growth and accountability Provide technical direction, mentorship, and continuous training to engineers, designers, and drafters to promote Teach, coach, and reinforce standard work practices to ensure each team member follows established design and engineering procedures with precision. What You'll Need 10+ years of engineering and design experience within the precast concrete or structural construction industry. Demonstrated experience leading a team of engineers and designers in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. In-depth understanding of ACI, PCI, and ASTM standards and precast manufacturing processes. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within a designated timeframe. Prior experience developing or managing engineering standardization and training programs. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or other 3D modeling or design platforms.
