Job Description

Position Summary The High School Engineering Intern position is a part-time opportunity designed for students interested in exploring careers in engineering, manufacturing, or technology. Students will split their time between attending school and gaining hands-on experience at Cleaver-Brooks in the Engineering department. This internship provides valuable exposure to professional work practices, project support, and cross-functional collaboration in an engineering environment. Responsibilities Support the Engineering team with submittals, order entry, and project documentation Assist with various engineering-related tasks under the guidance of staff engineers Learn and apply workplace practices in a professional environment Collaborate with a cross-functional team to gain exposure to engineering workflows and processes Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental needs Qualifications Currently enrolled as a high school student Interest in pursuing a technical certification, 2-year degree, or 4-year degree in engineering, manufacturing, technology, or a related field Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to balance school and part-time work schedule Good communication and teamwork skills Work Schedule This is a part-time position coordinated with the student's school schedule. Students will attend school part of the day and work at Cleaver-Brooks for the remainder, with hours determined in coordination with school requirements.
