You'll play a critical role in shaping the future of the company's manufacturing engineering function while working on complex, high-precision components for demanding industries. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for high-volume production machining Support CAD/CAM programming and manufacturing process development Program and support INDEX Swiss, CNC lathes, multi-spindle CNC machines, and similar turning equipment Develop machining strategies that improve productivity, quality, and cycle times Review customer drawings, GD&T requirements, and engineering specifications Select tooling, establish cutting parameters, and develop tooling packages Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, setup sheets, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation Troubleshoot CNC programming, tooling, setup, production, and quality issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and manufacturing performance
Qualifications:
Strong CNC programming experience in a production machining environment Experience with CAD/CAM software (Esprit or similar preferred) Ability to read, edit, troubleshoot, and optimize G-code and M-code programs Experience programming INDEX Swiss, Swiss CNC, multi-spindle
