Job Description
About the Role We are a growing lithium-ion battery manufacturing company building advanced energy storage systems for a wide range of applications. We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support production, improve processes, and help scale battery manufacturing operations in Rexburg, Idaho. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and improving real manufacturing processes on the production floor. What You'll Do Support lithium-ion battery module and pack manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot production issues and help keep operations running smoothly. Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and throughput. Assist with tooling, fixtures, and workstation improvements. Help create and update work instructions and process documentation. Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up. Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve issues. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support automation and equipment improvements. Use data to identify opportunities for process improvement. Support safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
What We're Looking For Required:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing. Interest in manufacturing, production systems, or process improvement. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Helpful (Not Required): Experience in manufacturing, electronics battery-related industries. Engineering or manufacturing experience. Exposure to automation, robotics, or production equipment. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement. CAD experience using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Siemens NX. Experience with production documentation or process improvement.
