We are looking for a Capital Projects Engineer to join our team as the link between Engineering, Production, and Quality to support Amboy's initiatives in capital projects. In this role, you'll use your engineering knowledge and project management skills to coordinate, lead, and manage capital projects for the Amboy facility. What you'll do Bid projects and review engineering information to ensure alignment with project objectives cross-functionally. Track and manage project schedules while adhering to budget guidelines. Lead and manage all phases of capital projects, including scope work, development, engineering, implementation, and project management. Use data to recommend, evaluate, and implement new engineering projects, protocols, and parameters to improve production throughput, support quality/safety initiatives, or provide cost savings. Troubleshoot Amboy processes, including support in the determination of root causes, for example in determining reasons behind first pass quality failures. What you'll bring BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering is preferred Experience working in manufacturing (ideally food or chemical industry) Ability/experience managing numerous projects or assignments and prioritize work. Strong communication skills with peers, management, plant employees, and contractors. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Hands on, logical, self-starter mindset.
