Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Process Engineer to review and analyze customer Gerber data, creating clear production documentation for SMT and Through-Hole assembly. You will also oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze Gerber data to ensure accuracy before production. Create manufacturing documentation (work instructions, assembly instructions, process flows) for SMT and Through-Hole assembly. Collaborate with clients to ensure proper design specifications and quality standards. Work with production teams to ensure manufacturability and suggest improvements. Use software tools to interpret Gerber data and translate it into production steps. Maintain and update documentation based on changes to assembly methods. Ensure compliance with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001). Train production staff on new processes and techniques. Monitor production flow for potential inefficiencies and suggest improvements. Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering related field. 3+ years of experience in SMT and/or Through-Hole process engineering. Proficient with Gerber files, CAD/CAM tools, and electronics manufacturing. Knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole assembly processes (soldering, component placement, reflow, wave soldering). Experience with
IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001
standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to create precise documentation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong organizational and troubleshooting abilities.
