Manufacturing Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you will work in engine test cells to assemble, disassemble, and test engines. Your role will involve conducting validation and certification tests, contributing to a team of engineers, and ensuring the standardization of work processes. Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble engines in test cells. Conduct validation and certification tests on engines. Develop and implement standard work procedures for new engines. Collaborate with mechanics to ensure they have the appropriate tools for engine disassembly. Engage in simple design work to support the testing and assembly processes. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing engineering. Proficiency in tool design and tooling. Background in mechanical engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with engines is required. Work Environment The role is situated within a technical and collaborative setting, involving hands-on work with engines and tools. The environment supports innovative engineering solutions, requiring a professional approach to problem-solving and teamwork. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bloomington, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.44 - $31.25/hr.
