This role focuses on hands-on engineering execution for existing products, product improvements, and new product development under the guidance of senior engineering staff. The position requires a solid foundation in hydraulic and mechanical design, with experience in CAD modeling, engineering documentation, and product testing. Exposure to electrohydraulic systems and electronic controls is beneficial. The engineer will work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and customers in a collaborative, small-company environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the design and development of hydraulic components, assemblies, and systems Assist with new product development and existing product support efforts Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation Participate in design reviews and technical discussions Assist with conceptual design development under senior engineer guidance Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities Execute laboratory and factory testing and document results Assist in developing test procedures, work instructions, and production documentation Support pilot builds and production launch activities Collaborate with manufacturing on production issues and continuous improvement efforts Work with purchasing and suppliers on component selection and technical questions Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements and support engineering discussions Identify technical issues and escalate risks as appropriate Support multiple engineering tasks and projects simultaneously Provide general engineering support to the Engineering Division as required Education and Experience:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related discipline 3-7 years of experience in hydraulic cartridge valve design, hydraulic implement valve design, and/or hydraulic system design Exposure to LabVIEW or other test/data acquisition tools Implement or mobile hydraulic system experience Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles Experience using EPDM or PDM systems Working experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software Experience with basic FEA and/or CFD tools (analysis support level) Preferred experience with hydraulic modeling tools such as Hysan, Dynasty, Easy5, or similar Experience creating part and assembly drawings using 3D CAD Experience or exposure to hydraulic and/or electrohydraulic controls Basic knowledge of ASME Y14.100

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics Familiarity with precision part manufacturing Required Skills/Attributes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Solid hydraulic and mechanical aptitude Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Spanish and/or Chinese language skills, preferred. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels. Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments. $95,000 - $110,000 annually (final compensation will be determined based on experience).
