Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide assembly line support with a focus on IPV (in-process validation) integration, wireless gauging, DC tools, and other technical tasks. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical aptitude and a mechanical experience, particularly recent graduates. Responsibilities Assist with assembly line support and manage ME calls on the line. Work with PFMEA documents from an IPV perspective, focusing on severity, occurrence, and detection. Integrate wireless gauging and DC tools into the assembly line process. Essential Skills Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer in an assembly manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, engineering technology, or a related field. Experience with PPAP and/or APQP processes. Proficiency in PFMEA. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously. CAD experience. Prior ME experience in a manufacturing setting. Exposure to manufacturing processes. Assembly experience is advantageous. Experience working with gauges is a plus. Work Environment The work environment involves working closely with assembly line operations, utilizing various technologies such as IPV integration and wireless gauging systems. Engineers are expected to handle technical tasks independently and may work with CAD software. The role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $76960.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
