Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering design and development, with a focus on creating cutting-edge solutions. This role requires expertise in various engineering principles, along with the ability to lead projects from concept through to completion. The Senior Design Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of new products and systems, ensuring they meet functional requirements and industry standards. Utilize advanced data analysis skills to interpret research findings and inform design decisions. Conduct laboratory testing to validate designs and ensure performance criteria are met. Fabricate prototypes and build models using 3D scanning technology to enhance design accuracy. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes and improve product quality. Develop scripts for automation of design processes, enhancing efficiency in engineering workflows. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in design engineering. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Proven experience in design engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply complex calculations in design scenarios. Familiarity with laboratory environments and testing methodologies is highly desirable. Experience with 3D scanning technology and its application in product development is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
