Summary:
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting automated machinery, custom equipment, packaging systems, robotics, CNC equipment, or other high-speed manufacturing systems. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating field service activities, installation projects, commissioning efforts, and technical support initiatives.
Job Duties:
Manage equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and system integration projects from planning through customer acceptance Coordinate field service activities for automation equipment, custom machinery, packaging systems, robotic systems, CNC equipment, and high-speed production equipment Serve as the primary customer contact for service requests, troubleshooting, installation support, and technical issue resolution Lead installation planning including labor, tooling, equipment, documentation, and scheduling requirements Support machine integration, commissioning, validation, and startup activities at customer sites Coordinate field service technicians and third-party contractors during installation and commissioning projects Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, automation, and equipment performance issues Prepare service quotations, parts proposals, and project documentation Maintain installation records, commissioning reports, service documentation, and technical manuals Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to field service, equipment installation, commissioning processes, and customer support operations
Qualifications:
Experience in field service, equipment installation, commissioning, machine integration, or industrial project management Background supporting automation equipment, custom machinery, packaging equipment, robotic systems, CNC machinery, or high-speed manufacturing systems Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and automated machinery Experience coordinating customer-facing installation and commissioning projects Strong communication and customer relationship management skills Ability to manage multiple installation, integration, and service projects simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems Ability to travel up to 30% We welcome candidates with experience in: Field Service Management Installation Management Commissioning Engineering Automation Engineering Machine Tool or CNC Equipment Support Packaging Machinery Robotics and Automated Systems Industrial Equipment Service Manufacturing Equipment Integration Custom Machinery and Special Machines Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
