Job Description

Are you passionate about improving processes, solving complex problems, and driving measurable results? We're seeking a COS Specialist II to help advance a culture of continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll leverage Lean Six Sigma tools and data-driven insights to reduce variability, improve efficiency, and deliver sustainable performance gains. You'll collaborate across departments, lead improvement initiatives, and influence how teams approach problem-solving and execution.
What You'll Do Lead continuous improvement (CI) projects across multiple value streams, departments, or plants
Analyze data using tools like Minitab and SAP to identify opportunities and track impact
Apply Lean methods (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, TPM) and Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, SPC, DOE)
Facilitate Kaizen events and structured problem-solving sessions
Manage project timelines, resources, and execution with growing independence
Partner cross-functionally to deliver and sustain measurable results
Support capital project justification and track savings What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or Associate's with 5+ years relevant experience)
3+ years in manufacturing or business environments with Lean/Six Sigma experience
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Ability to apply CI tools to moderately complex, non-routine challenges
Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and drive results across teams Preferred Lean Certification and/or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
Experience leading Kaizen events or CI initiatives Why You'll Succeed
