PM, Monday-Friday Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on engineering and technical support for manufacturing and assembly processes, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. This role will support process development, equipment and automation integration, production layouts, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting.
Must Have Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field2-3 years of manufacturing experience1+ year supporting or installing manufacturing processes1+ year of experience with manufacturing automation equipmentAutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experienceUnderstanding of manufacturing metrics and process improvementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Duties:
Provide engineering and technical support for manufacturing and assembly processesDevelop and improve manufacturing processes, production flow, equipment, tooling, and layoutsSupport installation and integration of manufacturing and automation equipmentAnalyze processes to improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and costIdentify root causes of downtime, defects, and process inefficienciesLead or support continuous improvement and corrective action projectsUtilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and improve productivityDevelop and maintain equipment layouts, work instructions, and production proceduresSupport PFMEA, process flow charts, control plans, and other quality toolsWork with Production, Quality, Operations, and vendors to resolve issuesSupport projects from concept through implementationEvaluate opportunities to improve processes, equipment, and operating standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline required2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferredHands-on experience with manufacturing processes, automation, equipment installation, or process improvementAutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experienceUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferredExperience with manufacturing metrics and data analysisProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong communication, project management, and problem-solving skillsSpanish language skills are a plusLean/Six Sigma certification is a plusWillingness to travel minimally (up to 10%) Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
