Job Description:
Manufacturing Engineer We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with process engineers and production personnel in troubleshooting issues that arise during manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will investigate nonconformances, implement corrective actions, and work with management to optimize workflow schedules, ensuring efficient production operations. Responsibilities Interface with process engineers and production personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing issues. Investigate nonconformances and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with management to optimize and execute workflow schedules based on planned manufacturing sequences and lead times. Coordinate quality control objectives and activities with management to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs. Design novel tooling as necessary and assist in determining tooling and fixturing needs. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Machining experience. Knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques with a focus on repeatability. Ability to assess machine tool capabilities. Strong mechanical aptitude. Working knowledge of material characteristics such as hardness and machinability. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred. Experience with gears is highly preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Machesney Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
