Manufacturing Engineer Job Description The role involves assembling and disassembling engines to conduct various tests, including validation and certification tests, within engine test cells. You will collaborate closely with a team of three engineers, focusing on standard work creation for new engine assembly and disassembly, providing necessary tooling for mechanics, and conducting simple design work. Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble engines for testing purposes. Conduct validation and certification tests on engines. Develop standard work procedures for new engine assembly and disassembly. Design and provide specific tooling required by mechanics for engine disassembly. Collaborate with a team of engineers to fulfill various requests and ensure smooth operations. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing engineering. Proficiency in tool design. Strong mechanical engineering skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with engines. Work Environment The work environment involves working in engine test cells, requiring hands-on assembly and disassembly of engines. Engineers will need to work collaboratively, employing mechanical and tooling design skills to meet the demands of the role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mossville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.44 - $31.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
