Job Description
at Rivian in Normal, Illinois, United States Job Description Staff Technical Program Managers with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Guide a cross-functional team of engineering, CAPEX, supply chain, construction management, and others to design, integrate, and deploy custom tooling and industrial equipment. Support equipment and tool development, schedule, and cost in a rapidly evolving environment. Build comprehensive line specifications and tool standards, taking input from other Engineering teams and Operations. Create and maintain a development roadmap. Lead meetings and document meeting minutes, open issues, and specific team follow-up items. Collaborate with all parties to review and maintain project timing that fulfills company requirements and coordinate tool, part, and equipment delivery that supports program milestones. Develop and implement systems and processes to streamline department business practices. Collaborate with team leaders to prioritize, resource, and track progress of team projects and work with Technical Program Management team to develop the Manufacturing Engineering team's equipment development and validation processes. Domestic or international travel required approximately 20% of the time.
RQMTS:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field and 2 years of [or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent as stated above and 5 years] experience in any occupation of project engineer, program manager, or related. Experience must include working with launching industrial equipment and tooling in manufacturing environments; propulsion and/or electric drive unit equipment space; leading design and manufacturing validation activities withD/PFMEA, DV/PV
testing, and PPAP; using a standard product development process; managing evolving project requirements in a fast-paced, ever changing environment; utilizing Smartsheet and Microsoft Office; approving engineering changes and release; and implementing engineering components into a manufacturing production line.Salary Range:
$153,000-$187,000/yr.Benefits Summary:
