FLSA Status :
Salaried, exempt The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. This role works closely with operations, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and product engineering teams to support production goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes Writes work instructions. Creates MECE's, Method's, setup sheets, and PFEMA's. Analyze production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput. Support new product introductions, process validations, and production launches. Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects. Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve productivity and quality. Monitor key production metrics and recommend corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with Quality teams to resolve production and customer quality issues. Conduct process capability studies and maintain process documentation. Support capital equipment justification, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Perform time studies and capacity analyses to improve resource utilization. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and procedures. Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities. Support cost reduction initiatives and manufacturing strategy development. Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes for production. Perform process capability studies and statistical analysis to improve quality and consistency. Required Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. Knowledge of manufacturing process development and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Preferred Knowledge of insulation systems and magnetic materials. CAD experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.). Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and APQP methodologies.
Annual Base Salar:
$75,000-$95,000 with benefits (medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k with match, paid time, etc). depending on experience. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors: job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
