This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and building strong client relationships while helping modernize the electric grid. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will: Lead design and engineering efforts for overhead and underground distribution systems Execute and review load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, and protection coordination studies Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor to utility clients Support infrastructure planning, grid modernization, DER integration, and reliability improvement initiatives Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices Help drive successful project delivery across multiple utility organizations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering PE license required (or ability to obtain immediately) 8+ years of utility or utility consulting experience Strong distribution engineering background Experience with CYME, Synergi, ETAP, or similar analysis tools Client-facing experience and strong communication skills Why TWG Engineering? Good Faith Salary Range:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $130,000 to $165,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
