About Our Client Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer of fabricated metal products and assemblies that deliver security-focused solutions across diverse industries. Driven by innovation and continued market expansion, the company is developing new products and applications to meet evolving customer needs. They are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support continued growth. Job Description Lead the transition of new products from development to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring efficient production launch, process readiness, and smooth cross-functional handoffs. Evaluate, select, and implement advanced manufacturing equipment and technologies to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. Engineer and refine custom tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids that enhance throughput, improve ergonomics, and promote a safe working environment. Champion continuous improvement and sustaining engineering efforts by leveraging Lean manufacturing methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping. Address production and product quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and the application of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) best practices. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, technicians, and production associates, supporting skill development and a culture of operational excellence. Coordinate cross-functional teams through key manufacturing milestones, converting product and process requirements into standardized work instructions, SOPs, and efficient manufacturing routings. The Successful Applicant Strong mechanical aptitude within metal manufacturing processes 10+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, within a similar industrial or metal manufacturing role Engineering Degree Required Experience building fixtures and designing tooling Knowledge of quality control tools, GD&T, etc AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor Experience Ability to lead engineering projects, willingness to be hands-on out on the floor Proven expertise in troubleshooting programmed and manual machinery Understanding of CNC Machinery, programming a plus Lean/CI Experience - certifications are a plus Sponsorship not provided What's on Offer Salary of $125,000-$140,000 Target Bonus Profit Sharing 10% 401k Match Medical/Dental/Vision Plans Other ancillary benefits 3 weeks PTO
