This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being both technical and hands-on, with the opportunity to influence how work gets done. Responsibilities Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for turning, milling, and other machining operations using CAM software, with a preference for SolidCAM. Support CNC machine setup and prove-out activities to ensure programs run safely and efficiently in production. Create and maintain setup sheets, tooling sheets, and machining documentation. Troubleshoot CNC machining and programming issues related to tooling, machine performance, cycle time, and part quality. Modify feeds, speeds, tooling paths, and machining parameters to improve efficiency, tooling life, and process consistency. Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and standardization of machining processes. Participate in additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership. Essential Skills CNC programming experience of 3+ years. Experience with CNC lathes and mills. Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar. Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or similar. Strong blueprint reading and tooling/fixture design experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Hands-on troubleshooting experience with CNC machines and machining processes. You will work alongside quality, safety, and other engineering departments.
