visas please Overview We are seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer to support and optimize automated manufacturing systems in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve production efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs , industrial automation systems, robotics integration, and process improvement initiatives. This position plays a critical role in reducing downtime, increasing throughput, and driving continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Design, program, implement, and maintain automated manufacturing systems and production equipment. Develop and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robotic, and motion control applications. Monitor automation system performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. Lead projects focused on converting manual processes into automated solutions. Integrate production equipment, test systems, vision systems, sensors, and robotic workstations. Investigate automation-related issues and drive corrective and preventive actions to resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and improve product quality. Stay current with emerging automation technologies, industry trends, and manufacturing best practices. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or related manufacturing environments. Hands-on PLC programming experience, preferably with Allen-Bradley platforms. Experience programming and controlling servo motors, pneumatic actuators, HMIs, sensors, vision systems, cameras, and automated equipment. Experience implementing automation solutions within automotive, electronics, or similar manufacturing industries. Ability to read, write, and communicate technical information in English. Preferred Qualifications Experience with C# and/or C++ programming. Experience designing and integrating robotic systems and automated production equipment. Knowledge of test equipment integration and machine vision applications. Experience supporting continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
