Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our automotive manufacturing client to start immediately starting up $90k/annually DOE! The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods that meet product specifications and quality standards. They will identify and apply improvements to production processes, methods, and controls. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be managing engineering changes and coordinate the launch of new and revised products. Develop and refine efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods that align with product specifications and quality standards. Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls. Manage engineering changes and coordinate the launch of new and revised products. Conduct time and method studies to establish accurate labor standards for manufacturing operations. Support all manufacturing functions through lean manufacturing and Kaizen principles. Create and update plant layouts, work instructions, process flow layouts, and setup procedures while following safety, quality, and productivity requirements. Support automation efforts involving robotic materials and parts. Develop and maintain process FMEAs and related process documentation. Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to help minimize disruptions. Track, monitor, and report production metrics and productivity incentive plans. Assist with refurbishing and repurposing equipment as needed. Support 8D problem-solving and corrective action activities. MaintainIATF 16949

Portage, IN Schedule/Shift Details:
8am to 5pm, or 9am to 6pm. The Manufacturing Engineer will also need to work part of 2nd shift at least once a week starting at 6pm.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, a related field, or equivalent education and experience. 3 or more years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Strong technical skills and a thorough approach to work. Ability to collaborate effectively with others across departments. Experience with cost estimation and process setup. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong understanding of safety requirements. Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting. Familiarity with AutoCAD, blueprint reading, and GD&T. Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts. ERP experience and a solid understanding of process setup and BOMs. Familiarity with automotive specifications. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with employees, customers, and suppliers at all levels. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. No supervisory responsibilities required. This role splits time between an office setting and the plant floor.Physical Demands:
The role requires frequent use of hands and arms to handle tools, controls, and equipment. The employee must be able to walk, stand, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear regularly. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 40 pounds may be required. Close, distance, color, and depth vision are needed to perform the job successfully.Benefits:
