The primary responsibility of this role is to support the research, development, preparation, and implementation of new technologies and innovative solutions for final assembly processes across North American manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will support assembly planning objectives to enhance operational excellence through the development and implementation of innovative business processes and tools within Assembly Engineering. Support operational excellence within vehicle assembly as a member of the equipment planning team. Ability to efficiently and effectively self-direct and collaborate with others to meet project objectives. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with two or more new or major model launch preparations at a manufacturing facility. Practical knowledge of PLC and electrical circuitry. Practical knowledge of machine design and machining or fabrication.
