Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an Automation Engineer with experience in Automotive to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities Design, develop, and program robotic automation systems using Fanuc and other robotics platforms to optimize manufacturing workflows. Integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) to automate machinery and process controls effectively. Conduct root cause analysis on automation-related issues, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software components to minimize downtime. Implement lean manufacturing principles by identifying opportunities for process improvements and reducing waste through automation solutions. Develop vision inspection systems for quality assurance using vision technology to ensure product consistency and compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Support tooling design, machining processes, and mechanical knowledge application to ensure seamless integration of automated equipment into production lines. Experience Proven experience in robot programming with Fanuc or similar robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge including schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and tooling design. Hands-on experience with PLC programming, or other distributed control systems used in industrial automation. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies Experience working with vision inspection systems and integrating them into automated production lines. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex automation issues to identify solutions quickly and effectively. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
