Requirements:
Influences key associates to promote participation and cooperation in process development/improvement initiatives. Ensures conformance with and application of policies and procedures. Designs, deploys and validates new manufacturing processes and techniques. Responsible for smooth product production/constant production flow. Responsible for product qualification processes. Conducts product and process FMEA analysis. Create, document and implement procedures for meltblown, converting and packaging processes. Re-engineers operations and manufacturing processes. Designs, installs and debugs tooling and new capital equipment. Designs, evaluates and implements automated systems for inspection, manufacturing and data acquisition. Responsible for continuous improvement activities. Develops training systems and support documentation for associates. Drives cost reduction and scrap reduction initiatives by identifying projects for manufacturability improvements.. Other duties as assigned.
Additional Details :
What You Need To Be Successful Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field Lean manufacturing experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite Knowledge of quality management systems Must be a strong team player Strong written and verbal communications skills 3+ years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Familiarity with CAD software, AutoCAD preferred Ability to concurrently manage long-term capital projects while providing real-time technical support for process optimization and troubleshooting. Knowledge of statistical tools; GR&Rs, SPC, DOE's, Ppk's Availability on off-shifts and/or weekends during peak project points and/or process troubleshooting events Six Sigma Green Belt Training Certification preferred Nonwovens industry experience preferred
