Job Title:
Process/Continuous Improvement Engineer Client is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Job Description We are seeking a Process/Continuous Improvement Engineer responsible for line improvement projects across the plant. This role involves supporting documentation such as PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions. The engineer will communicate with production team members and cross-functional teams to identify and manage projects. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with potential weekend or overtime requirements depending on projects. Responsibilities Lead and manage line improvement projects across the plant. Support and develop documentation including PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions. Collaborate with production team members and cross-functional teams to identify and manage projects. Conduct root cause analysis to improve manufacturing processes. Implement lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement. Essential Skills Proficiency in process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in root cause analysis and project management. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and PFMEA. Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 1+ years of manufacturing experience. Problem-solving skills and methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred. Background in automation, especially with ABB/Fanuc robots, is advantageous. Experience with AutoCAD. Experience in glass manufacturing. High initiative and proactive approach. Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled. Long-sleeve protection and steel-toed shoes are required on the floor. This role is a contract position with the potential to become full-time. The company is experiencing growth with new equipment supporting new business. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Versailles, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
