Role:
Build and maintain the manufacturing execution foundation required to launch, transfer, and scale products for the Consumer Technology business. Own the creation and coordination of manufacturing system inputs, part numbers, BOMs, Methods of Manufacture, travelers, routers, work instructions, inspection points, and data requirements. Ensure production systems and documentation support controlled, traceable, repeatable manufacturing. Daily production output, staffing, scheduling, and shop-floor supervision remain the responsibility of Operations and Production.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Methods of Manufacture, travelers, routers, work instructions, and other manufacturing execution documentation
  • Translate engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and customer requirements into clear, executable shop-floor documentation
  • Define operations, inspection points, acceptance criteria, and traceability requirements
  • Support pilot builds, first-article and validation builds, and launch-readiness reviews
  • Identify and close documentation, routing, execution, traceability, and quality gaps
  • Coordinate creation and maintenance of part numbers, BOMs, and routings
  • Ensure master data is complete and accurate across Epicor, MES, and related systems before production release
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and IT to establish master-data standards, naming conventions, revision control, and change-control practices
  • Define manufacturing system requirements and data-capture needs for production, inspection, traceability, nonconformance, DHR, and LHR records
  • Support system testing, user acceptance testing, validation, training, and integration across Epicor, MES, QMS, and PLM platforms
  • Identify system gaps and workarounds and drive improvements to manufacturing workflows
  • Serve as the cross-functional NPI and business-unit interface for documentation and system readiness
  • Support root-cause investigations and standardize launch-readiness processes
  • Independently manage projects and resolve complex, cross-functional manufacturing challenges
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; Operations; Information Systems; or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, NPI, Production Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience creating and maintaining travelers, routers, manufacturing work instructions, process flows, and Methods of Manufacture
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, MES, PLM, QMS, or related manufacturing enterprise systems
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, item masters, inventory transactions, revision control, and manufacturing traceability
  • Experience supporting NPI, manufacturing transfers, or production scale-up programs
  • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and project-management skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with Epicor ERP and MES platforms
  • Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments, such as medical device, aerospace, defense, automotive, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Familiarity with
FDA QSR, ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF
16949, or similar quality systems
  • Experience with digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or manufacturing data analytics initiatives
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, or project management Active Filters Sr.
