This position is based in Beverly, MA - Monday through Friday - in person, first shift We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QHSE team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will leverage your technical expertise and knowledge of quality assurance to help drive continuous improvement in a collaborative environment which will foster team growth.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Director of Quality Assurance as needed to provide technical support for quality-related issues, conduct detailed root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Represent Quality department when working cross functionally with manufacturing engineers, production teams, Tech Support, other departments, and Management to implement best practices, participate in procedure updates, and ensure quality standards are being followed. Track, coordinate and follow‑up of corrective actions from internal and external audits (PED/ATEX/3A/ FM/CSA and
ISO 9001
), including tracking progress, communicating with action owners, verifying the effectiveness of implemented actions, and ensuring timely closure in accordance with company quality standards. Review reports, generate corrective actions and follow through with implementation. Performing occasionally internal Audits to insure procedures and policies have been followed. Responsible for creating and documenting Customer Complaints Forms (CCF) in KROHNE Quality Management System, coordinating the internal follow‑up process, and managing cross‑factory communication to ensure each complaint is resolved and closed accurately, effectively, and in a timely manner. Assist with documenting the problem and ensuring the customers' needs have been met. Coordinate with Sales and Technical Support to process equipment returns and initiate replacement orders when a quality issue is identified. Maintain tracking, periodic review, and revision of procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and industry standards Participate in addressing noncompliance and nonconformance issues, writing nonconformance reports and performing root cause analysis. Where possible implementing corrective actions or propose corrective actions to department heads. Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively Function as the primary quality interface for specific accounts, ensuring that all products manufactured for them consistently meet or exceed their high-quality benchmarks and support continuous improvement initiatives when deviations arise. Assist in overseeing supplier quality management, working with suppliers when corrective actions need to be taken and ensuring their compliance with regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications At least 5 years quality engineering experience Knowledge of
ISO 9001
standard Proven communication skills with the ability to teach others Expertise in process improvement methodologies Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Manufacturing engineering
PED/ATEX/3A
