Job Description

Lead hands-on process improvements Drive equipment reliability initiatives About Our Client Our client produces specialty paper, coating, laminating, and converted material solutions for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Job Description This Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for: Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime Identifying root causes of equipment, process, and quality issues and implementing corrective actions Improving coating, laminating, sheeting, and web-handling manufacturing processes Analyzing production data and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Supporting equipment upgrades, installations, automation projects, and capacity improvements Partnering with production and quality teams to improve product performance and consistency MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A Successful Manufacturing Engineer will have: 3+ years of manufacturing, process, equipment, or mechanical engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment Experience with bearings, drives, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and sensors Electrical and controls troubleshooting experience with PLCs and VFDs preferred Knowledge of root cause analysis, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies Experience in paper converting, packaging, web handling, laminating, coating, or similar continuous-process manufacturing preferred Strong problem-solving, communication, and hands-on leadership skills What's on Offer Comprehensive benefits package Stable, family-owned manufacturing environment High visibility and ownership within a growing organization Opportunities to lead equipment and process improvement projects Collaborative and team-oriented culture Apply today to be considered within 24 hours!
