Job Description

Overview Waters is seeking a Co-Op student to join the Milford Operations Engineering team . This role offers a combination of hands-on manufacturing support and project-based engineering work focused on both new and existing Liquid Chromatography (LC) products. This co-op provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on engineering experience by supporting the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment of manufacturing test equipment while collaborating with experienced engineers on both new product introductions and ongoing operations. Responsibilities Duplication of test systems and equipment used to support production Assemble, document and debug manufacturing fixtures and tooling Support manufacturing & test of LC products manufactured in Milford Test and debug PCBA's and electromechanical assemblies to support production requirements Safe handling of chemicals in a lab / manufacturing environment Maintain engineering lab environment, parts procurement, etc. Qualifications Qualified individuals should be enrolled in a high school vocational program in one of the following disciplines: electronics, robotics, or engineering.
Basic understanding of:
Electrical circuits and components Mechanical assemblies and tools Robotics or automation systems Computer hardware and software Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment such as multimeters and calipers. Ability to read basic engineering drawings, schematics, or work instructions Individuals should have strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities. A viable candidate should also have the following competences: Dependable, organized, and self-motivated. Comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance when needed CAD experience a plus Detail oriented Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills Capability to use PC with applications for data acquisition, analysis and reporting Ability to test and de-bug PCBA's and electromechanical assemblies Company Description Waters Corporation (
