We will rely on your extensive knowledge to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. The seasoned, experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer we seek will develop manufacturing engineering plans and strategies for specific products and processes and estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. At GDMS, we continually seek ways to develop and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing our teams knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.What youll experience:

Assist product engineer with design to cost Define and document equipment calibration requirements Develop floor layouts Document procedures, process qualifications, work instructions, shop aids, routings, etc Develop manufacturing engineering plans and strategies for specific products and processes Install manufacturing process systems and conduct production qualification Provide process analysis to support new business (NPI) opportunity assessment and quoting Develop, design, procure, and construct manufacturing process hardware, fixturing tools, software, and work environment Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines Lead quality initiatives using six sigma methodology to determine extent of non-conformance root cause, and corrective action.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient understanding of manufacturing processes and methods Proficient in lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodology Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Proficient communication and interpersonal skills Proficient written and verbal communications skills Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office applications Proficient knowledge with manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems and applicationsEducation and Experience:

Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $105,814.00 - USD $117,387.00 /Yr.
