The role will focus on product redesign, fixture development, process improvements, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Key Responsibilities Create, update, and maintain SolidWorks CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings . Interpret mechanical drawings, basic electrical diagrams, and GD&T requirements. Design, procure, and implement production fixtures and tooling . Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing workflows. Execute and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) through the PLM system. Troubleshoot production issues involving tooling, fixtures, test setups, and assembly processes. Analyze manufacturing data using Excel, Power BI , and internal tools. Conduct process audits, time studies, and workflow assessments. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, ergonomics, quality, and efficiency. Collaborate with Quality, Product Management, Operations, and other cross-functional teams. Support design-for-manufacturability reviews, process validation, and testing activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering , or related field. 3+ years of manufacturing or production engineering experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks , including part modeling and drawings. Experience with ECNs and documentation within a PLM system . Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, bonding, and assembly . Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T principles. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work hands-on in a production environment. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and DMAIC. Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing routings, and BOM structures .
