Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer Overview Support a large-scale Atlas Copco implementation within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will focus on torque tool deployment, manufacturing process development, controls integration, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Program, configure, and deploy Atlas Copco torque tools and controllers. Support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and production launch. Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard work. Support SAP and MIS 2.0 integration activities. Design and implement production fixtures and tooling. Troubleshoot manufacturing, controls, and assembly-related issues. Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives. Train operators and support production teams after implementation. Required Qualifications Manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment. Atlas Copco assembly, fastening, or torque control experience. Hands-on experience programming and configuring torque tools. Experience with equipment installation and controls integration. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Experience supporting manufacturing process improvements. Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, IT, and controls teams. Preferred Qualifications Atlas Copco Power Focus or ToolsTalk experience. SAP experience. MIS 2.0 experience. Creo Parametric experience. Fixture design experience. Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience. High-volume manufacturing experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Park Ridge, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $72.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
