Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing process improvements, equipment implementation, and production optimization within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role partners with operations, quality, controls, and engineering teams to launch new equipment, improve assembly processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and integration of manufacturing equipment and production systems. Troubleshoot production, assembly, and process-related issues. Lead process improvement, standardization, and efficiency projects. Develop work instructions, training materials, and manufacturing documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate processes and support production startup activities. Drive quality, traceability, and operational performance improvements. Hands-on expertise programming, configuring, and troubleshooting torque tools (Atlas Copco prefered) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production support. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills. Experience with manufacturing systems, equipment integration, and production processes. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Experience with automation, controls integration, CAD, SAP, Lean Manufacturing, or high-volume production environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Morton Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $72.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
