About the Role As a CNC Programming Specialist, you will drive manufacturing excellence by developing precise programs for complex milling and turning operations. You will leverage your technical expertise to transform CAD models into high-quality components, ensuring optimal production efficiency and superior part accuracy. Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or Hypermill to maximize yield and cost-effectiveness. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings from customer specifications to streamline the production workflow. Provide technical leadership by guiding machine set-ups and troubleshooting complex programming challenges. Manage tooling requirements and generate purchase requisitions to maintain seamless production cycles. Oversee the performance and daily output of assigned machine operators to ensure team success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system. Maintain rigorous safety standards while ensuring all machined parts meet exact customer tolerances. Required Skills Minimum 4 years of hands-on machining experience with a focus on 3-axis mill set-up and operation. At least 1 year of professional experience in CNC programming. Proficiency in Mastercam or Hypermill and strong blueprint reading capabilities. Solid understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers. Proven ability to work with diverse materials including steel, aluminum, and titanium. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds. Preferred Skills Associate degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent technical certification. Advanced experience with 4-axis and 5-axis milling or multi-axis lathe operations. Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and complex machining environments.
