Key Responsibilities :
Demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures .Providing technical assistance and leadership required to plan and implement projects to develop, install, and qualify new products, and/or new processes for manufacturing new products or for improving existing processes according to business plan objectives .Providing engineering input in the design, fabrication, development, installation, validation, and qualification of equipment/processes, which may include conducting feasibility studies and/or preparing proper documentation for project justification and training to ensure proper operation of the equipment .Leading cause-identification and problem-resolution for various types of production or service-related issues that arise .Monitoring and controlling programs, identifying issues, and ensuring they are resolved .Ensuring proper documentation is prepared or corrected to reflect any changes implemented .Researching and implementing cost reduction projects, lines, extensions, and/or products .Providing assistance to production as required .Planning work schedules, expenditures, attending meetings, and preparing monthly reports as required, ensuring effective communication of ideas, information, and issues to appropriate stakeholders .Assigning, delegating, and assisting in the completion of engineering tasks or projects to lower-level engineers .
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Scientific discipline, or technical field; Master's degree preferre d.
Minimum of 6 years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering, or 5+ years with a Master's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical fiel d.
Proven expertise in acquisition, validation, and support of automated manufacturing equipmen t.
Hands-on troubleshooting and coding skills with PLCs and HMI s.
Strong understanding of PLC/HMI signals, circuitry, and automated process contro l.
Experience supporting High Volume automated production lines (10,000+ units annually), including process and equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ ).Background in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, pharma, or defense, familiar with ISO 13485 or similar standard s.
