Job Description:

Manufacturing Engineer Overview Our client is seeking a hands-on, driven Manufacturing Engineer to help optimize and scale our production operations. This role is critical in designing, improving, and sustaining efficient manufacturing processes across multiple production areas. You'll work cross-functionally with production, quality, and continuous improvement teams to drive performance, implement best practices, and support a culture of operational excellence. What You'll Do Drive continuous improvement across machining, impregnation, purification, coatings, inspection, and packaging operations Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput Support and lead automation initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manual processes Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and workmanship standards Partner with production leadership to ensure accurate BOMs, routings, and manufacturing readiness for released products Own and maintain manufacturing documentation including drawings, process procedures, and revisions Utilize manufacturing data (CMM reports, process capability, machinist measurements) to monitor performance and drive improvements Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings to support operational growth and alignment Champion Lean manufacturing principles and help build a culture of continuous improvement and accountability Support training initiatives to elevate quality and operational standards across the facility Manage assigned projects using tools like MS Project to ensure timelines and deliverables are met Identify, recommend, and document process improvements in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement team What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering role Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) Experience working in machining environments; exposure to chemical processing is a plus Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, and PFMEA methodologies preferred Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach Why Join Us Opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing performance and efficiency Collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement Exposure to a variety of processes and technologies across the operation Career growth potential within engineering and operations
