Develop, maintain and provide training in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Develop techniques to increase efficiency for staff using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Coordinate with surveying staff to develop, maintain and share surveying symbiology files. Reviews plans for quality, accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards and requirements. Assist in coordinating with various departments, divisions and consultants to manage project files. Coordinates with IT to manage the agency's AutoCAD licensing and software configurations. Must perform duties in a professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County. Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours or operation. Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position. Special Experience/Education This positions requires a high school diploma with post-secondary education in engineering technology preferred; progressively increased responsibility in supervising personnel. Demonstrate strong working knowledge and proficiency utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for design of civil (road/bridge) infrastructure projects. Strong communication, planning and organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of RCOC organization structure including cause / effect of project priorities and impact throughout the organization. Drafting, road plan preparation and computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A minimum of five (5) years of technical experience commensurate with the duties described above is required. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan driver's license.
