Job Description:
About The Job The Manufacturing Engineer drives innovation by designing and developing high-quality products while ensuring smooth, efficient manufacturing processes. This role is all about creating smart, customer-focused solutions that improve performance, reduce costs, and deliver exceptional value.
Responsibilities:
Maintain Drawing Management System per Global CAD standards. Manage local engineering activities aligned with Germany team. Administer Product Data Management (PDM). Create drawings, 3D models, and work instructions. Implement technical modifications and drawing revisions. Oversee product information and supplier data. Design production cells and tooling; drive continuous improvement. Collaborate on costing, supplier products, and part creation. Lead corrective actions, change management, and PPAP processes. Develop internal standards and guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years relevant experience. SolidWorks certification or 2+ years experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office and PDM software. Knowledge of APQP, process maps, control plans, FMEA. Understanding of machining, welding/brazing, assemblies, hydraulics. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods; lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.
