Job Description

SUMMARY The manufacturing engineer is responsible for improving and supporting manufacturing operations through process optimization, engineering development, and project execution. This role focuses on increasing productivity, improving quality, reducing cost, and enhancing safety through data-driven improvements and engineering solutions. The position works closely with production, operators, and cross functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements and drive operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Analyze workflows and identify bottlenecks Lead continuous improvement initiatives (lean, waste reduction, efficiency gains) Quality & Process Control Develop and maintain process standards and quality systems Ensure products meet specifications consistently Manufacturing Development Design tooling, fixtures and process layouts Support product design with manufacturability (DFM) input Production Support & Troubleshooting Resolve process issues, equipment failures, and inefficiencies Provide technical support to operations Equipment & Automation Evaluate and implement manufacturing equipment and automation Cost Reduction Identify and execute cost savings initiatives Documentation & Reporting Develop work instructions and process documentation Report performance metrics and improvement results
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent work experience) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze and present data effectively Must be proficient in
Microsoft:
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD software.
