Temporary Advantage Technical is partnering with a leading global automotive OEM to place a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer in Dearborn, MI. If you're a hands-on quality or manufacturing professional with a sharp eye for supplier performance and a track record in automotive launches, this is a high-impact role on the plant floor that matters. Job Duties (What You'll Do!): Lead APQP and PPAP execution aligned with program timelinesServe as the on-site technical lead for troubleshooting, containment, and corrective actionDrive supplier compliance with quality, delivery, capacity, and warranty standardsCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and supplier leadershipConduct manufacturing feasibility assessments to support launch readinessAnalyze supplier performance data to support sourcing and quality decisionsEnsure zero production disruptions due to supplier-related issues Requirements (What You Need to Succeed!): Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field3-5+ years in advanced manufacturing or quality within interior commodities (seats, IP, consoles, door panels, headliners, restraints)Hands-on experience with stamping, welding, molding, or automated assembly processesProven PPAP, APQP, and root cause analysis skillsAbility to travel to supplier sites up to 70%Six Sigma or Lean certification a plus; Q1 knowledge preferred
