Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to interpret and validate design specifications for sheet metal components, ensuring compliance with dimensional and functional requirements. In depth knowledge of designing and implementing die processes for stamping sheet metal parts using large and extra-large presses, optimizing for material flow, press capability, and production efficiency. Good troubleshooting skills to find root cause of die process issues. Microsoft Office experience to include PowerPoint, Outlook Excel and Word. Up to 10% of local travel. Even better, you may have… Teamcenter Engineering expertise. Die tryout and/or launch experience. Six Sigma certification.
