You will work onsite with engineering peers, vendors, customers, and cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through verification and production. Your work directly impacts product performance and manufacturability for the organization. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Define project goals, schedules, budgets, and technical requirements; drive projects to meet milestones Perform electromagnetic motor design and detailed engineering for AC and DC motors Integrate gear design and manufacturing considerations into motor and product designs Prepare and review schematics, layouts, CAD models, and engineering documentation Lead verification activities: analysis, simulation, and testing to validate product performance Coordinate with vendors for tooling, fixtures, and component supply Develop manufacturing process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives Present project status to management and engage with customers as needed Mentor less-experienced engineers and serve as a technical consultant Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical discipline Typically 10 or more years of related engineering experience Extensive experience in gear design and manufacturing Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to complex design and verification tasks Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead projects and communicate with stakeholders Here's What Else Might Help You Out Working knowledge of solid modeling CAD, FEA, and simulation software (preferred) Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and cross-functional teams Pay Range $130k - $160k/year Ready to Make Your Mark?
