Design Engineer

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Design/Create 3D models, 2D General Assembly drawings, and BOM's of plastic injection hot runner systems for customers using SW 2024. Support solving problems and open questions between customers and MS. Monitoring of projects and distribution of project data & information to relevant departments - demonstrated expertise in PLM data management (TC) Communication/Completion of project revisions and changes. Coordinate transmission of engineering data to local and global manufacturing departments as well as outside vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Approximately 5 years of design experience that included the use and interpretation of engineering design drawings, 3D models, with a focus on toolmaking, special machine construction or injection molding. Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling and drafting familiarity (Solid Works, Creo, I-Deas, etc.) PLM expertise is highly valued and will be a key differentiator Familiarity with ANSI Y.14.5 and/or

ISO 1101 GD&T

standards. Excel skills required, able to learn new software applications. Team orientated.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
