Job Description:

This leadership role is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through strategic engineering initiatives focused on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing overall performance. The position leads cross?functional engineering efforts, drives continuous improvement, and supports product and process excellence across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and support manufacturing improvement projects focused on throughput, cost reduction, scrap reduction, and operational efficiency Drive continuous improvement initiatives through improved processes, methods, tooling, and equipment Support new product introductions, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards Analyze manufacturing data, identify gaps or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions Guide engineering involvement in product, tooling, and process design activities Partner cross?functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and improve producibility Develop documentation, technical reports, and standard work as needed Foster a strong culture of engagement, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team Support the development, training, and growth of engineering staff Leadership & Collaboration Serve as a technical liaison with internal and external customers, ensuring alignment on requirements and expectations Encourage creative problem solving and innovation across engineering and manufacturing teams Promote collaboration across engineering, operations, and other functional areas Mentor and coach team members while supporting professional development and knowledge sharing Communicate clearly at all levels, simplifying complex concepts when necessary Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership, communication, and problem?solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment
